Historic & Character Homes in Spokane

Spokane Realtors for homes with character

Craftsmans, Tudors, Victorians, bungalows, and mid-century gems. If you love a home with history and soul, you'll want agents who love them too. That's us.

Our specialty

Homes with history deserve a thoughtful agent

Spokane has an incredible collection of older homes, many built during the city's early 1900s boom. Buying one is a little different from buying new construction. You want someone who can spot the original details worth protecting, and the issues worth budgeting for.

Labrina has hands-on renovation experience and is currently renovating the 1962 rancher she grew up in. She also holds an NRPP radon measurement certification. Together, we help you see an older home clearly: its charm, its quirks, and what it will really take to love it for the long haul.

Our older-home checklist

  • A sewer scope to check older clay or cast iron lines.
  • Electrical review, including any remaining knob-and-tube wiring.
  • Questions about any old heating oil tank.
  • Radon testing, which is especially important in Spokane County.
  • Lead-based paint disclosures for homes built before 1978.
  • Roof, chimney, and foundation condition.
  • Whether the home sits in a historic district, which can affect exterior changes and may open the door to preservation incentives.

Spokane's Historic Preservation Office can tell you whether a home is on a historic register and what that means for future projects.
